The Stone Project is partnered with Stone Italiana to promote warehouse and distribute Cosmolite.
Cosmolite is a completely new kind of Engineered Stone slab. It is not quartz or porcelain. It is made from +/- 89% post-industrial recycled stone products sourced in its region of manufacturing in Northern Italy, and bound together with polymers for added strength. It has a long life span, requires little maintenance and no sealing, and due to these factors has a comparatively very low embodied energy than traditional quartz slabs. It is food safe. It is easy and safer to cut than quartz, heat and scratch resistant, and attractive. It is notable for its design and innovation in addition to its sustainability. It's muted neutral tonalities and versatile patterns and finishes fit within most design concepts.
Cosmolite comes in three finishes: Gloss, Grain and Roc Plan depending upon color. Grain and Rock Plan are pressed before the low temperature firing so they are more resistant than any other unpolished Engineered Stone surface we know of in the market and equal in ease of care to the gloss finish.
Stone Italiana is a leading edge manufacturer of Engineered Stone slabs in 1.2cm, 2cm, and 3cm thicknesses. They are a family run business with a rich history of best in class sustainability, innovation, and quality.
The Stone Project has the following 6 cosmolite colors in stock together with the superwhite quartz color from Stone Italiana
